Canadian Products/Services The Canada-Made badge is displayed on all business ads on this platform, offering buyers a clear indication of where the product or service originates. This transparency is essential for fostering trust and supporting the Canadian economy. While we all import goods and services from other countries, it's valuable to know the extent of foreign involvement in the creation of the product or service you’re purchasing. This badge allows business owners to estimate and label their products as 0-100% Canadian-made, or their services as 0-100% performed in Canada. For example, if you produce clothing in Canada but import the fabric from Japan, you can select the "Up to 25% Canadian-Made" option when creating or editing your product listing. For services, the Canada-Made badge can also be used to indicate the level of Canadian involvement. For instance, if you offer renewable energy consultation and installation, and all your services are performed in Canada, you would select "100% Canadian Service Provided." However, if the installation involves products made overseas, you could choose the option: "At least 75% Canadian-Made Product or Service Performed."
